Our School

Welcome from the Head Teacher and Co-Chairs of Governors

Ewhurst Infant School offers a broad, balanced, creative curriculum, which includes learning through first hand experiences and off site trips.  Outdoor learning opportunities are also freely accessible to the children along with our Forest Schools programme.  Children are encouraged to become independent learners and thinkers, live the school values, achieve highly and develop his or her gifts.

The education of children is a shared responsibility between school and parents, and we at Ewhurst are eager to do all we can to encourage the sense of partnership that is necessary to ensure the very best for our pupils.  We are also mindful of the importance of the first three years of a child’s educational journey, and here at Ewhurst your child has the opportunity to develop firm foundations for life.

Extending the theme of partnership, as a voluntary aided school we have close links with our Parish Church and are grateful for the many ways the church gives us support.  We are also very much aware of our role as a village school, and are pleased that there is a real involvement between school and community.

Ewhurst Infant School is forward thinking and innovative, steadfast and confident in the values for which it stands.

Please do come to see the school at work, either by attending one of our Open Mornings, or by making an appointment with the school office.
